You Project Your Hate On Others

In the darkness of your mind, 

You hate yourself so deeply, 

That you seek to bring others down, 

And crush their spirits completely. 

But know this, dear one, 

Your hatred towards yourself, 

Does not give you the right, 

To hurt someone else. 

Your words may sting, 

And tear apart their soul, 

But know that in the end, 

It is you who will pay the toll. 

For a heart filled with hate, 

Can never find peace, 

And a mind consumed by darkness, 

Will never find release. 

So instead of trying to break, 

Another person's spirit, 

Look within yourself, 

And find a way to heal it.
