REBIRTH POST DISCARD

In the aftermath of chaos and despair, I found myself seeking solace and repair. For I had dealt with a narcissist so vile, Their toxic presence left me in exile. Their manipulation and lies, Had left me feeling paralyzed. But I knew deep down inside, That I had the strength to abide. I faced my fears and embraced the pain, Knowing that through loss, there is gain. I let go of the toxic ties, And watched as the narcissist's facade slowly dies. I shed my old self like a cocoon, And emerged stronger under the full moon. I was reborn from the ashes of my past, Ready to face whatever may come at last. I learned to love myself anew, And let go of the lies that once grew. I found peace in letting go, And in the process, my true self began to show. So here I stand, reborn and free, No longer held back by what used to be. I am a phoenix rising from the flames, Ready to face life's challenges and games. No longer will I be held down, By those who seek to wear a frown. I am reborn, and I will soar, Knowing that I am worth so much more.
