Once I found out he was a narcissist, My heart was filled with rage and hate. He insisted on me being vulnerable, Taking all my time, becoming immovable. Extremely controlling, he had me in his grasp, His manipulation was a deadly rasp. I gave my all to him, thinking it was love, But deep down, it was all a poisonous glove. When it finally ended, I was left to ponder, How could I be so blind, so unaware. His true intentions hidden behind a mask, Leaving me with scars that forever last. His need for admiration, his lack of empathy, I was just a pawn in his sick fantasy. His thirst for power, his sense of entitlement, Leaving me broken and feeling irrelevant. But now I stand strong, I see the truth, I refuse to let him dictate my worth. I am worth more than his shallow lies, I will no longer be swayed by his deceitful guise. So goodbye, narcissist, you no longer hold power, I have reclaimed my strength in this darkest hour. I will rise above, free from your toxic grip, I am stronger now, no longer your helpless ship.
