In the shadows of his twisted mind, the narcissist lurked, With the mask of charm, he cunningly worked, A master manipulator, a predator in disguise, His prey unaware, falling for his lies. With a heart black as coal, he fed on their love, Draining their souls, like a vulture above, His hunger insatiable, his thirst never quenched, Leaving behind a trail of broken hearts drenched. He played them like puppets, dancing on his strings, Enjoying the power, the control he brings, With a callous disregard for the damage he caused, Leaving his victims shattered, their spirits lost. But as the years passed, the weight of his sins, Began to weigh heavy, the guilt within, The mirror reflecting a monster he'd become, The facade crumbling, his true self undone. And in his despair, he saw the wreckage he'd wrought, The lives he'd destroyed, the pain he'd brought, The mask finally shattered, revealing the truth, A soulless shell, devoid of any youth. As the darkness consumed him, his breath grew faint, The emptiness within, a soul stained with taint, And as he took his final breath, a cold realization, That his reign of terror had led to his annihilation. The narcissist's legacy, a trail of despair, A cautionary tale, a warning to beware, For the pain he caused, the death he sowed, A reminder that no one can escape their own road.
