In a world where blame is often shifted, Where fault is always gifted, There lies a question, deeply rooted, When does a narcissist take accountability, undiluted? For every action, a reaction awaits, A cycle of consequences, opening gates, But for some, the mirror never reflects, Their own flaws, their own defects.

They walk through life as if untouchable, Leaving a trail of destruction, undeniable, But when called out, they deflect and deny, Refusing to see the truth, they live a lie. Everyone can't be the problem, it's clear, Yet the narcissist never sheds a tear, Their ego shields them from the pain, Of facing their mistakes, the stain. At what point does the mask crack? When does the truth finally attack? Will they ever see the light, And take responsibility, without a fight? For now, the question lingers on, In a world where accountability is often gone, But perhaps one day, the narcissist will see, That everyone can't be the problem - maybe it's just me.
