Narcissist Envy

In the twisted mind of the narcissist, Lies a deep-seated envy that cannot be missed. They long for the natural shine of others, Their success only serving to smother. They gaze upon those who effortlessly glow, Feeling inadequate as their own light fails to show. They covet the success of those around, Their own failures only serving to compound. The narcissist yearns for what they can never possess, Their envy a relentless, unending mess. Their ego demands constant praise and adoration, Their jealousy a toxic, destructive sensation. They cannot fathom why others surpass, Their own faults a heavy burden to amass. Their envy consumes them from deep within, Their own reflection forever tainted by sin. So they lash out at those who shine so bright, Their envy a blinding, all-consuming blight. But no matter how hard they may try, They can never dim the light in another's eye. For the natural shine of those who succeed, Cannot be extinguished by envy or greed. So let the narcissist envy and seethe, For their own darkness will never deceive. In the end, it is those who shine naturally, Who will always outshine the narcissist's envy.
