Narcissist Awareness

The narcissist with his charming smile, Tried to lure me in with guile. He insisted I let my guard down, But deep inside, I felt a frown. His words were sweet, but his eyes were cruel, I knew deep down he was no fool. He tried to manipulate and deceive, But I refused to be naive. I saw through his facade of lies, And with a heavy heart, I cut ties. I learned the importance of self-respect, And to never let my guard down for neglect. So to the narcissist who thought he could win, I'll never let you trap me in your sin. I stand strong with my guard up high, And leave behind your deceitful lie.
