In the realm of false mirrors and shallow hearts,
There dwelt a narcissist who played the part,
Of a charming fraud, a deceitful facade,
But deep inside, his soul was marred.
With a silver tongue and eyes that gleamed,
He spun his tales, his lies esteemed,
By those who fell under his spell,
Blinded by his charm, they couldn't tell.
He danced through life on fragile ground,
His ego inflated, his true self drowned,
In a sea of vanity and self-obsession,
He craved attention, feeding his aggression.
But beneath his mask of beauty and grace,
Lurked a darkness, a twisted disgrace,
He manipulated and deceived with ease,
Leaving behind a trail of broken pleas.
His reflection in the mirror never lied,
A hollow shell of a man inside,
Haunted by his own emptiness,
His ego a fragile mess.
And as the days turned into years,
The narcissist's facade began to veer,
Revealing the truth of his foolish ways,
A fraud exposed in the light of day.
No longer could he hide his deceit,
His true self laid bare at his feet,
Exposed for all the world to see,
The narcissist, a pathetic wannabe.
And so he roamed the earth alone,
A cautionary tale, a heart of stone,
For in the end, it was his own ego,
That brought about his foolish downfall.
