The narcissist says I disparage him, Accusing me of making him feel grim, But I speak only the truth, no lie within, No delusions here, just facts to win. He claims I bring him down, But I only speak what is sound, His insecurity shining through, Blaming me for what he can't undo. His ego fragile, easily bruised, Unable to handle any truths, He seeks to shift the blame, Instead of facing his own shame. I hold up a mirror for him to see, The reflection of his own reality, But he turns away in anger and fear, Refusing to acknowledge what's clear. I pity the narcissist, lost in his facade, Hiding behind a mask so flawed, Unable to accept his faults and flaws, Blaming others for his own downfall. I speak the truth to set him free, But he sees it as an attack on his vanity, Unable to look within and grow, Stuck in a cycle of ego and woe. So let the narcissist say what he will, I will continue to speak the truth until, He learns to face himself with grace, And finally find his rightful place.
